After working with over 300 clients and training an average of 1000 hours each year, seeing clients who have the most success all have one thing in common. Consistency. Yes I know it sounds simple and it is. But that doesnt mean it doesnt take work. All too often we get caught up in the details, I consistently get questions on the newest supplements, the latest equipment, the best exercises etc. People are missing the big picture. People should first focus on;
1. eating 6 meals daily
2. protien with each meal
3. a fruit or a green veggie with each meal and minimizing starches
4. limit their sugar and alcohol intake
5. eat every 2 or 3 hours an NEVER skip a meal or breakfast
THEN and ONLY then should they be worrying about nutrient timing, vasodialators, doing cardio on an empty stomach, bla bla bla. First exercise and do all the other things I have listed and I can GUARANTEE you will see results. Then you can sweat the small stuff. Stay active and shoot for 5 hours of intense activity weekly and everything will take care of itself!
