Lean Physiques Opens Oct 24th!
So its official, Lean Physiques LLC will open on October 24th!
We will be offering two different local programs:
a) Womens Only Group Training
Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 10:30 am
b) Men & Women Private personal training
Appointment Only
Then in the next 90 days I should have our global membership site up and running. For a small monthly fee you will have access to workouts, on-line videos about nutrition, exercise, rehab, etc. All things fitness via a password protected link on our main site. Currently starting shooting right now for the videos.
I again wanted to thank everyone for their support and will certainly keep everyone posted!
Updates on supplements will be coming, currently doing some research right now. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

walking helps digestion...
So there is a great book written by Pete Egosque called "Pain Free" and he has several exercises and movements that help to limit and correct pain. One of his sections in discussing walking is as follows,
"Movement helps the body to live. You stop moving, you slowly begin to die. Movement helps the body flush toxins out of the system, increase cell turn over, decrease peripheral artery resistance and increase glute activation."
So there you go, walking not just for those seniors hitting the mall!

How the juice diet started...
So firstly, great job all of you!!! Wow I have gotten several emails and exciting stories of people either starting or getting ready to start. I will go more into depth.
The juicer I use is called "juice guru" not sure where it came from as it was my wifes. I know another great juicer is the vitamix but it is fairly expensive ($500 or so). Some of my clients (as I make them all do this in the beginning) have gone to William Sonoma and found them for around $300.
How I started and what I continue to do each morning is this:
3 celery stalks
3 large carrots
1/2 an apple
1 beet
1 cucumber
this typically makes about 10 oz of juice. I drink this on an empty stomach around 6 am and usually eat breakfast after my workout at about 8 am.
When I first started I did this exact mixture 3 times a day. NOW that is alot of cleaning! So you can make one large batch for the day BUT it needs to be stored in an air tight container or the juice starts to degredade and lose nutrients.
What I recommend is start with just juice for breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack then have a regular dinner. Go for 7 days doing this then slowly start to get back on a regular eating schedule.
I am currently experiemting with 3 meals a day and actually feel much better with less bloating than i did before. I still juice for breakfast then eat 2 hours later.

Fat Loss diet update....
so WOW!! The fruit & veggie juicing is the real deal!! I have adjusted it since my day job is technology based, I kind of need to be on my game. So I have adjusted as follows
breakfast:
juice-1 apple, 3 carrots, 3 celery stalks, 1 cucumber, 1 beet
omelet-2 whole eggs, 1 cup egg whites
1 cup blue berries
2 pieces ezekiel bread
mid morning:
power crunch bar
lunch:
HUGE salad-as many different veggies as I can get
4 to 6 oz of a protein
small amount of fruit if needed
mid afternoon:
power crunch bar
dinner:
4 oz protein
4 oz of a starch
2 servings of veggies
NOW remember this was followed by a week of juicing 3 times a day plus a regular dinner.
So results right now: my bodyfat is down 3%, my waist is down 2 inches and by the end of the day my pants seem to be falling off and I am leaner than I have been in a long time. Plus on Friday nights I eat Chinese food with my wife!!
You WILL feel a huge difference once you start juicing. Your skin, and hair will change dramatically!! And you just feel totally different, almost like you just drank an energy drink. SPOOKY!!
